•Develop, implement and enforce MICU protocols, policy and procedures
•Meet with MICU nursing staff to review bed control and manage MICU bed needs and facilitate transfer of patient in and out of the MICU
•Review patient safety reports
•Coordinate care with the ED physicians and AOD to manage/facilitate admission and transfer of patient in and out of the MICU
•Supervise educational effort in the MICU to housestaff, medical students, PAs, etc.
•Institutional representative on ICU improvement committees, Departmental committees, patient care committees, etc.

Applicants must be board-certified or board eligible in Pulmonary & Critical Care, and be eligible for a Florida Medical License. The annual salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience and education.
