Baylor Annette C. and Harold C. Simmons Transplant Institute, which includes Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas and Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center – Fort Worth, is looking for an experienced multi-organ abdominal transplant surgeon. Baylor-Simmons Transplant Institute is a large volume transplant center performing approximately 150 adult liver transplants and 230 adult kidney transplants annually in addition to kidney-pancreas transplants, living donor liver transplants and hepatobiliary surgery. Candidate must be American Board of Surgery certified/eligible and have completed an ASTS fellowship. Experience in multi-organ transplant including liver, kidney, pancreas, and living donor nephrectomy is required with a specific interest in kidney and kidney/pancreas. In addition, the candidate will actively participate in the education of transplant surgery fellows, residents, medical students and transplant advanced care providers (nurse practitioners and physician assistants).
