Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Nurse Practitioner for new Multidisciplinary Liver Tumor Program and Pancreatic Cancer Center in the PCC. Both programs involve surgical specialists, medical oncology specialists, and gastroenterological specialists in the care of hepatobiliary and pancreatic malignancies. In addition to the below qualifications, NPs will be expected to collaborate and assist in the care of patients treated by surgical, medical, and GI specialists in a multidisciplinary setting. Interfacing and collaborating with genetic counselors and clinical/translational research coordinators is required. Management of multidisciplinary Liver and Pancreatic Tumor Boards is also required. Facilitating outreach and collaborative patient management with practices internal and external to NYU and between the Pancreatic and Liver programs is required. Monitoring of quality assurance and setting metrics for patient and referring physician satisfaction is required.
In this role, the successful candidate Provision, coordination, and assurance of comprehensive nursing care using nursing process and pertinent standards of care, the diagnosis of illness and physical conditions, and performance of therapeutic, corrective, and prescriptive measures of the designated inpatient or outpatient patient population.

Required Licenses: Nurse Practitioner-NYS, Registered Nurse License-NYS
Preferred Qualifications: Membership in pertinent professional organizations preferred
