JOB SUMMARY:
Provides anesthesia care in the Operating Room in support of surgical, diagnostic and, therapeutic procedures under general supervision of an anesthesiologist. Provides preoperative evaluation and postoperative follow-up. Meets the qualifications to provide care for patients in the specific age range on their assigned nursing unit.Performs duties to provide the highest level of patient care and maximize patient satisfaction.
COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Ability to start A-lines, IV lines and Central lines.Ability to insert Endobronchial tubes and use the Glide Scope, light wand and Intubating LMA.Experience with Regional Anesthesia.
Must obtain and maintain BLS, ACLS
Demonstrates computer literacy, accurate and timely charting via Electronic Medical Record (EMR)

Travel as indicated
Participation in the holiday/weekend/call schedule as indicated
