Fellowship in Pediatric Intestinal Rehabilitation- Cincinnati Children's Hospital – July 1, 2026
We invite applications for a non-ACGME accredited one-year Fellowship in Pediatric Intestinal Rehabilitation beginning July 1, 2026, offered to physicians who have completed a General Pediatrics or General Surgery residency and are pursuing an academic career in Pediatric Intestinal Failure. This advanced training program provides integrated clinical and research experience within a multidisciplinary intestinal rehabilitation program, with individualized mentorship based on prior training and career goals.
Fellows gain comprehensive exposure to nutrition management, medical management of intestinal failure, surgical decision-making and perioperative care, and intestinal transplant evaluation. Upon completion, trainees are expected to function at the level of an independent consultant in pediatric intestinal failure.
Operative experience is available exclusively to fellows who have completed an accredited General Surgery residency.
Applicants must be board-eligible in Pediatrics or General Surgery and eligible for U.S. medical licensure.
