Description
Full-time position open for US citizens who are hepatology fellowship trained. GI fellowship training is not required for this position but would not exclude the applicant. If not GI trained, the position would be Monday-Friday with no "in person" night or weekend call required (though the GI fellows and attendings on call may reach out with questions). Weekly work would include half-day Fibroscan, paracentesis, and virtual clinics, with the other days being divided between face-to-face visits, research, liver tumor board, and triage/administrative time. GI fellowship trained applicants could choose to do call and endoscopy clinic for additional salary. Voluntary faculty appointment at UC Davis could be available as GI fellows, residents, and/or students often rotate through our clinics.
Requirements
1) US Citizen
2) Board eligible in Internal Medicine (ABIM)
3) Completed Clinical Hepatology Fellowship (including Transplant Hepatology)
4) Unrestricted Medical License (any state).
5) Fluency in English
6) MD or DO
