Academic Transplant Hepatologist opening near NYCLocated in Newark, NJ Full-time, permanent positionAcademic OpportunityBE/BC in Gastroenterology and Hepatology.Immigration Assistance NegotiableThe Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology seeks a Full Time Transplant Hepatologist, board eligible/certified in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, with liver transplant experience. The candidate must possess superior clinical, teaching and interpersonal skills with research interests and a commitment to an academic career. This individual would devote a majority of his/her time to general hepatology and transplant hepatology with clinical responsibilities to include attending on the inpatient hepatology service, outpatient hepatology clinics, and the performance of GI procedures. The ideal candidate will be fully engaged in further enhancement and expansion of our liver transplant program. Responsibilities will include patient care, research, and teaching (medical students/resident physicians and subspecialty fellows) in concert with the policies of Rutgers NJMS, University Hospital and the Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology.
