This is a PRN position on a busy inpatient unit which serves patients with a variety of complex diagnoses, including: A&D, GI, renal, pulmonary, ortho, hospice, and oncology.
This position will be scheduled As Needed based on the needs of the unit.
**Must have one year RN experience in unit-specific area for PRN position.**
This role provides direct clinical patient care.The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level.The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated.The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.
Required: Graduate of an accredited School of NursingPreferred: Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Masters degree)
Required: At least 12 months experience as an RN in unit-specific area.
Required: Current RN license to practice in the state of TN. American Heart Association issued BLS certification. ACLS to be obtained within 90 days of hire date. CPI to be obtained during Hospital Orientation.
