This position is responsible for: Areas of specialized nursing practice, and provides direct and indirect care to patients and their families in the inpatient setting.. This position supervises APRNS and specialty nurses in the General Pediatric, Gastroenterology, PICU and Emergency Service Divisions.
Provides leadership, in collaboration with a physician leader, to a team of nurses and/or advanced practice nurses. Acts as resource, role model, and clinical leader for the patient care team. Responsible for the planning, development and utilization of human and material resources to meet departmental needs Mentors and develops staff Participates in departmental and hospital programs for continuous improvement
