The Indiana Center for Liver Research Center (ICLR) at the Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking outstanding candidates for one Scientist track faculty and one Postdoctoral Appointee in Gastroenterology & Hepatology.
Applicants should have evidence of excellent research training, including high impact publications. Successful candidates will have either current or potential extramural funding. The ICLR is a multidisciplinary program that builds on the existing strengths of Indiana University (IU), a leader in the delivery of innovative and cutting-edge clinical care coupled with a strong clinical research program, and the Roudebush VA Medical Center, a clinically robust VA center focusing on patient care, research, discovery, education, and innovation. This research center will initially be hosted by the Department of Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine.
The ICLR, led by Dr. Gianfranco Alpini, a worldwide expert in the field of cholangiopathies, is committed to providing a platform to enhance, enrich, and synergize scientific interactions and collaborations among various investigators in the field of liver pathobiology who are currently residing in diverse departments. The key to the success of the ICLR will lie in the collaborative interactions between IU and Roudebush VA Medical Center along with other physicians, scientists and trainees within IUSM, and countries around the world.
The search committee will begin evaluating applications as they are received and applications will continue to be reviewed until positions are filled.
