Northern California Opportunities
Santa Rosa: Full-time general gastroenterology opportunity to join a group of seven doctors. Hospital call is 1:7, only one hospital is covered, and the work is supported by excellent hospitalists. The outpatient practice is a blend of procedures (approximately 60%) and office consultations (approximately 40%). ERCP is desirable, but not essential. The staff of nurses and medical assistants are experienced and very helpful for the physicians' practices. Our GI Department is young and energetic and work is equally shared. The position offers opportunities to teach residents, to become involved in information technology development for clinical practice, and to develop administrative talents & clinical leadership skills. Santa Rosa is located in Sonoma County, near the Napa/Sonoma wine country, and an hour's drive from San Francisco. The area boasts many beautiful residential communities with fine schools and there are abundant outdoor recreational activities.
Roseville: Full-time opportunity focusing on outpatient clinic visits with hospital duty. The call schedule is 1:5. Applicants with ERCP skills will be considered, but ERCP is not mandatory. No EUS procedures. Roseville is one of the North Valley’s most prosperous cities, boasting some of the fastest-growing companies in the area. Nestled at the base of the Sierra Nevada foothills, it offers a climate that’s ideal for those who love to enjoy the outdoors all year long. Roseville is within driving distance of some of California’s most popular recreational attractions, including Lake Tahoe, Folsom Lake and the Napa Valley wine country. Affordable home prices, reasonable cost-of-living, great schools, and scenic surroundings make Roseville a great place to call home.
