Bring your experience to Lahey Hospital and Medical Center’s fast-paced CAP accredited lab where you will rotate working in chemistry, hematology/coagulation, blood bank and microbiology as needed. Our Level I Trauma Center with the largest liver transplant service on the east coast, keeps the night shift busy. We have robust transfusion and surgical services as well, but do not have obstetrics (no prenatal testing, labor and delivery or cords/neonate testing or transfusion).
Working as part of a team, pathologists are always available on call and are very responsive to the night team. When you become part of the night shift lab team, we offer 8 and 10-hour shifts and provide highly competitive shift differentials that are above average.
In addition to a bachelor’s degree including laboratory internship at an institution certified by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS), ideal candidates should have:
Certification by American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) Board of Registry or the National Certification Agency (NCA) for Medical Laboratory personnel or by American Medical Technologists (AMT) for Medical Laboratory
Blood Bank experience is a plus
