TriHealth Digestive Institute (TDI) is seeking a Hepatologist to join our expanding Gastroenterology physician team in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Ideal candidates will be BC/BE with strong clinical skills and enjoy teaching and working in a team environment of a group of 22 GI physicians.  Recent fellowship graduates and candidates completing a 2021 Hepatology fellowship are welcome to apply.

The position offers: 

  • outpatient and inpatient clinical responsibilities
  • very favorable call schedule with only 8-10 scheduled weekends a year
  • practice opportunities throughout our network of locations in Greater Cincinnati as we continue to grow and expand the service line

TDI is a one-stop provider of coordinated care for patients with disorders of the pancreas, liver and biliary system. We treat and help patients manage a wide range of Hepatobiliary Disorders using diagnostic techniques that include ERCP, liver biopsy, liver diagnostics and Radiology.  

Our TDI Center at Bethesda North Hospital specializes in Hepatobiliary treatments that due to complexity cannot be performed in a physician office or ambulatory facility. Bethesda North performs an average of 450 ERCP cases a year and is Greater Cincinnati’s leader in ERCP, ranking within the top five in the state.  Additional procedures performed by the Center’s multi-disciplinary team of Gastroenterologists, Surgeons and Interventional Radiologists include: 

  • Laparoscopic Surgery
  • TIPS
  • Hepatic Chemoembolization
  • Radiofrequency Ablation
  • Fibroscan 

The TDI physician team also teaches primary care residents within our system.
