Research Analyst I, Transplant Operations, Solid Organ Transplant

This Research Analyst I position is part of one of the busiest multi-specialty organ transplant systems in the world, the Baylor Annette C. and Harold C. Simmons Transplant Institute. The role provides research support for the solid organ transplant programs, in particular, liver transplant. Our Research Analyst I will examine patient data in the electronic health record and other sources to identify and enter information for research registries/databases, perform routine audits of same, assist in the implementation and on-going maintenance of existing and new research system(s) and assist as needed in retrospective research and quality projects. In addition, the Research Analyst I requires ability to read and understand medical, scientific, statistical and/or business or management terminology and navigate the electronic medical record. The ideal Research Analyst I candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, experience with the Epic electronic health record and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE - 1-3 years of related experience is required - PREFERRED EXPERIENCE - Proficiency with Epic
