Job SummaryGeisinger Gastroenterology is seeking an Advanced Practitioner to join our team at Geisinger St. Luke's Hospital in Orwigsburg, PAJob DutiesThis provider will perform in collaboration with the physician, diagnostic and therapeutic tasks, to assure that patient care is delivered in a caring and efficient manner throughout Geisinger in an effort to increase patient satisfaction and patient outcomes. They will assist in gathering necessary data, reviewing with the supervision/collaboration physician, and implementing the therapeutic plan for both inpatients and outpatients. The successful candidate will function as a patient advocate in the medical care system as confidant, advisor, and liaison between patients, families, and physicians. Previous Gastroenterology experience preferred. The Advanced Practitioner will report to the Medicine Institute leadership team Operations Director and regional director of Gastroenterology.
