Overview The University of Minnesota Medical Center is looking for RNs to join our perianesthesia team. The University of Minnesota Medical Center is the flagship location for University of Minnesota Health providing breakthrough medicine and transforming the health of our community. Complete services range from primary care, emergency care and to care of patients with the most complex conditions. Areas of specialization include solid organ (heart, kidney, lung, liver, and pancreas) and blood and marrow transplantation, heart disease and cancer. Perianesthesia Department, three phases of care:
The scope of practice extends from a patients entry into preoperative care unit and continues through recovery. Start times vary with the earliest being 5am and the latest being 3pm. This position does have off site on call requirements. The weekend requirement is on-call every 6th weekend 12 hour day/night rotating and one weekday night (10:30p-6:30a) per month.
