The Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV, in Las Vegas Nevada, is inviting applications for Gastroenterologists at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank, with experience in advanced procedures to include: EUS, ERCP, EMR/ESD, and other advanced technique and interventions. The School of Medicine is seeking to grow academic departments and divisions that will provide Southern Nevada with excellent clinical care, education and research. This is a very unique opportunity to be involved in developing and building programs that will sustain these efforts well into the future. All areas of expertise are being sought and all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
This full-time clinical and teaching position will have an active role in clinical care, education of medical students, interns/residents and fellows and research activities within the Gastroenterology Division. Faculty will also function independently in the care of patients and participate in scholarly activities that may include participation in clinical pharmaceutical and multi-center studies of the treatment of gastrointestinal and hepatic disease. Faculty will also have the opportunity to develop innovative programs and areas of expertise that will promote collaboration with other specialties and basic science faculty to establish disease-focused areas of excellence. The clinical professor series is not a tenure-track position.
