The MedStar Georgetown Transplant Institute is seeking an experienced transplant hepatologist for its MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center location (MFSMC). The ideal candidate will be Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Subspecialty Board Certified in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology.
Expand the hepatology service in both inpatient and the outpatient settings including the care of pre- and post-liver transplant patients.
Participate in teaching medical students, residents, fellows and pharmacy students and residents
Contribute to the development of our expanding advanced liver diseases program across local Baltimore MedStar Health entities.
We are seeking an experienced transplant hepatologist to expand the current outpatient and inpatient hepatology service at MFSMC. This position will be a critical element of the liver sub-specialty service line across the Baltimore region and would be the lead transplant hepatologist. In addition to activities at MFSMC, the candidate will participate in the system-wide liver transplant selection committee and other liver sub-service line conferences and activities. The candidate will have the opportunity to attend on the hepatology service at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC.
