10 years of progressive leadership experience in Finance with preference for a complex academic healthcare setting. Given the size and scope of Yale New Haven Hospital, the ideal candidate for this role has had financial oversight for a complex academic enterprise in excess of $1B in net revenue.
Candidates must bring deep expertise in financial management and accounting within large, complex organizations; system experience is preferred as is a track record that demonstrates the ability to partner effectively with the operational team in advancing and achieving financial and operating objectives.
A demonstrated and strong understanding of a complex health system’s financial operations focused upon constant performance management and improvement.
A track record of success demonstrating the ability to drive initiatives and achieve goals within a matrix environment. The capacity for success in the matrix environment will also be complemented by a leadership style that includes effective collaboration, influencing and negotiating skills.
