DescriptionThis position supports the business and financial side of the Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition division. This large division relies on the business team to manage revenue and expenses. The role requires a forward thinking strategy for growth and efficiency within current operations.
To evaluate businesses, projects, budgets, and other finance-related transactions to determine their performance and suitability.
REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIESFinancial Analysis - Prepares financial models/analyses to support current and proposed business transactions, performance improvement initiatives, etc.
- Prepare utilization analysis and trending.
- Identify issues that require additional analysis and develop reporting to support the analysis.
- Develop and maintain reporting to provide monthly analysis of variances and to make recommendations.
- Analyze and monitor financial performance and assist in the reporting of financial results. Monitor and report productivity metrics.
- Provide support for revenue cycle management including billing, coding, charge capture and reporting.
- Research and resolve payer issues. Participate in projects/initiatives to reduce costs and meet revenue goals.
Procurement and Operations - Monitor business processes to ensure effective and efficient operations; support the review of policies and procedures for improved utilization and operations; identify opportunities for improving cost and quality of care and develop and provide recommendations for improvement.
Data, Systems and Technology - Ensure accuracy of data recording and tracking in applicable clinical, financial and research operations.
- Advance the use of technology for decision making processes of new and existing business.
- Be able to identify next steps based on data retrieved and analyzed.
Project Management - Responsible for assigned projects that are divisional related in the clinical and research operations.
- Manage timeline, status and recommendations on each project.
- Ensure quality data retrieved and analysis for projects.
QualificationsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCERequired: - Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 2 - 5 years of work experience in a related job discipline
- Experience in tracking, retrieving, and analyzing data
Preferred: - EPIC experience
- Experience with Clinical Management Systems
- MS Office - Excel- experience with Pivot table and V look up, Access, PowerPoint
