Prisma Health, the largest not-for-profit healthcare provider in South Carolina, seeks a board-certified Transplant Hepatologist to help initiate a liver transplant program.  Prisma Health has a growing kidney transplant program and has initiated a pancreas transplant program. According to UNOS outmigration data, between 70-80 transplants are performed annually in patients located within 100 miles of Prisma Health. Senior and mid-career candidates are encouraged to apply. An ideal candidate would originate from a medium to large liver transplant program, have a clinical focus, work well in a team environment, and enthusiastically pursue outreach opportunities. There is an opportunity to bring a junior hepatology colleague. Academic appointment at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine – Greenville commensurate with experience. Candidates may also consider applying for the Gastroenterology Division Director opening.
