Endoscopy Tech Per Diem Days Position Summary
Provide non-clinical support for the Endoscopy unit including accomplishing and/or coordinating all functions pertaining to evaluation, acquisition, operability, and cleanliness of equipment; availability of maintenance and repair; and retention and maintenance of records and statistics.
Qualifications:THE ENDOSCOPY TECH PER DIEM DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
EDUCATION
Required: High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (G.E.D.)
WORK EXPERIENCE
Required: Minimum of one (1) year hospital clinical/technical experience as an equipment tech or unit assistant or other applicable experience required.
Skills
Required: Must have proven ability to work independently (i.e., with minimum supervision) and to prioritize workload effectively. Effective interpersonal communication and human relations skills required.
Knowledge
Required: Working knowledge of GI instruments and equipment, medical terminology and aseptic technique desirable.
