We are seeking a Locums Hepatologist to assist our team at the John C. McDonald Transplant Center at Willis-Knighton Health in Shreveport, Louisiana.

 Willis-Knighton Health is a not-for-profit community health organization with the broadest continuum of care in the Northwest Louisiana and the Ark-La-Tex region. Since 1924, Willis-Knighton has served the needs of this community with an eye toward the future. We have grown to become one of the largest healthcare providers in Louisiana, with more than 900 acute care beds and 54,520 inpatient admissions in 2019. 

At John C. McDonald Transplant Center our mission is "To provide services to fulfill the highest expectations for outcomes and quality transplantation services." Our Transplant Center is the only transplant center in north Louisiana where more than 2,100 organ transplantations have been performed since the program’s inception in 1977. We perform Kidney, Kidney/Pancreas, Pancreas, liver and living kidney transplantation. We also see general hepatology patients for the majority of Northwest Louisiana and the Ark-La-Tex region.

Requirements

Candidates for the position must be board certified in Internal Medicine and Hepatology and be eligible to practice in the state of Louisiana
